　　　　　本研究呈現一個隔代教養的案例，不同於以往的若干研是以祖輩角度來看隔代教養實際，而是以一位托受隔代教養的成年人，以故事敘說的方式來談嫽的受教養體會與經驗。從鍾琦的敘說中，發現隔代教養的優勢有：協助或減輕親職工作壓力，角族文化與價值的傳承，祖係間的情感聯繫與依賴，祖輩擔任孫輩角色模範與學習對象；在挑戰方面則有：孫輩早熟與未能享受童年的遺憾、經濟與工作責任負擔、管教問題、兒繫情緒的出口與責難。
　　　　　This study presented a narrator’s grand parenting experience and reflections. The results showed that strengths of grad parenting were: providing parenting assistance and responsibility-sharing, passing on family values and traditional heritage, developing and deepening grandparent-grandchildren bond, serving as role model and providing life wisdom. The challenges for grandparent were: managing financial difficulty and work-load, handling discipline issues, and suffering live-in parental blame and emotional outlet. For grandchildren, they grew up precociously and were unable to enjoy childhood.
