「全球化」爲21世紀發展之大趨勢，而「全球化」所及，其涵蓋之廣、影響之深，提高了世界各國之互賴依存度；而標榜提供一個健全穩定的國際經貿架構爲宗旨的「全球化」論述具體組織－WTO亦因運設立。兩岸既已皆爲WTO之成員，因此，兩岸的關係及互動，自應置於全球化之脈絡中，予以思維，希冀藉此經貿平台雙向溝通、互動，累積善意，以化解僵持，展現新局。

Being the main tendency of 21 century, the globalization has been magnified so comprehensively and affected the world so profoundly that every country on earth has become more and more inter-depended on each other. And the alleged concrete organization that emphasizes on and aims at globalization and providing a sound and stable skeleton of international economics and trade platform-WTO has been built therefore. Since both of the economic entities between Taiwan Strait have been WTO members, their relationship and interactions should be laid on within the sequences of globalization while their contemplation also should be based on that thread, so as to accumulate good-will by two-way communicating and interacting within this platform, therefore could they reconcile the impasse and bring new prospects.
