The purpose of the study was to explore the relationship between recreational sports participation and constraints factors. The sampling was used in data collection focusing on nurses working in some affiliated local hospitals of the Medicine center. We collected 296, response rate was 94%. The results found the high frequency of recreational sports was accompanied with family, in 30 minutes, in the afternoon, less than 10 minutes to the sporting location by walk, and no money spent. The first items of recreational sports were walking. The first constraints factors were busy in work and home, no appreciate sporting arrangement in hospital. The constraints factors were no significant difference in education, marriage, monthly income, current position, and ward type, but were significant difference in gender, age, and working time. Our recommendations were hospital should understand the sporting needs and set relative policies.
