There are more than 400,000 immigrants in Taiwan. According to the governmental statistics, the immigrant women confronted more treats from domestic violence. The immigrant women confronted domestic violence could face more difficulties in accessing social resources. The possible reasons included: 1. Their professional skills are not sufficient to obtain a decent job. 2. Child caring becomes a restriction of finding jobs. 3. It is not easy for the government workers to build up trustful relationships with immigrant women. 4. Some employers rejected to hire immigrant women.Therefore, the researchers suggested that: 1. Social workers can adopt more flexible way to deliver the social resources to them. 2. The government can provide short-term financial support. 3. Ensure the immigrant women's working rights from the treats of violence actors. 4. Discern the current laws and acts which are disadvantageous to domestic violence victims. 5. Encourage immigrant women to take further education. 6. Assist immigrant women to resolve child care problems when they have to work.
