The development of Taiwan women research after 1945 is closely related to Taiwan’s politics, society, culture, and so on. In addition, popularization of education, acceleration of the urbanization, change in occupational structure, and acceleration of information transmission are a couple of crucial factors to rapidly change in all respects of the position of Taiwan women. This is not only to provide an innovative researching field but also facilitate studies for academic researchers to work in the corresponding environment. In this paper, we pay attention to the women for addressing the problem in which Taiwan women had been practical to participate in the central and local elections from 1945 to 1987. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze Taiwan women practical activities of political before 1945, the women participated in political activities after 1945, and before the abolition of Martial Law. Moreover, three issues are discussed in this paper; the first one is to comprehend Taiwan women participated in politic of election within the Martial Law, the second one is to reveal the influence on politics motivations and changing processes for Taiwan women after 1945, and the last one is to promote Taiwan political developments and their social positions that have the important meaning in time transformation.
