　　　　　本論文嘗試就九○年代以後台灣報紙媒體對女性政治精英的若干報導 與評論案例進行解讀與分析，嘗試探究當女性政治精英在台灣政治領域嶄露頭角 的同時，大眾媒體究竟如何塑造或描繪她們的形象、又是如何書寫她們的種種政 治實踐，傳統上若干對女性參政的負面迷思是否已消褪等。本研究特別就其中「政 治參與的處境」、「身體形象的書寫」與「政治衝突」三個面向的議題加以檢視。 對台灣的女性政治精英而言，媒體再現是其投身公共領域所必須面對的挑戰與壓 力，而眾多案例也說明，台灣報紙媒體所再現的女性精英，依舊包含了扭曲的刻 板印象，也再現了主流社會對女性參政的種種迷思與意識形態。
