本論文立足於「生態道家」點上，考察當代採取廣泛定義下的道家思想所提出的環境論述與反思，進一進檢視「生態道家」的環境論述文獻的歷史意義，並認為其一方面可作為全球環境論述中不可或缺的一環；另一方面可為本土環境論述的重要理據之一。從道家經典中、或相買道家文化中，來論述生態環境的學術論文，約略可分為五個面向：一是東西方環境論述的對話與交流，成為全球化環境論述中的一環。二是自道教經典中、或道教自身文化中，開發出蘊涵符合光態與環境論述的可能詮解。三是自生態文化論的觀點來討論，說明道家文化對於中國環境論述的特質。四是從道家經典中，如老子、莊子等，裁發出道家生態哲學的面向。五是探討現代道家實踐者在生態環境議題的實踐面向。

This paper is an investigation of the significance of contemporary EcoDaoism discourse. On the one hand, the EcoDaoism should be seen as an indispensable element of the global environmental discourses. On the other hand, EcoDaoism can serve as the theoretical foundations of Taiwan environmental discourses. The EcoDaoism derived from Daoist canons or Daoist traditions can be divided into five categories. The first type of EcoDaoism discuses are the comparative ecological studies that draws form traditional Daoist resources in their responses to the Western environmental discourses. They enriched the dialogue between the Eastern philosophy and the West. Second, solutions for current environmental problems can be sifted from canons of religious Daoism. Third, from the perspective of culture ecology, we can say that the Daoist tradition provides some of the native viewpoints on ecological issues. These views also reveal the essence of Chinese environmental discourses.
