近年來,台灣教育主體性已淪為流行的政治口號。本文希望從西方哲學對主體性概念的探討,歸納其重點,俾利於台灣教育主體性的良性發展。作者從現代主義、後現代主義的脈絡中探究主體建構的得失。接著,本文循自由導向與正義導向兩類主體性的價值,分別探討其對個體性及集體性主體建構的啟示。作者本文吸納其中的論點,最後提出「拒絕二元對立」、「互為主體的多元認同」、「在地實踐」,作為重構台灣教育主體性應有的方向。
