Based on the data of Han people’s original families and cadastre, this paper mainly tries to present the distribution along Tamsui River area after numerous combats. Take the Family Lin (Lin Pen-yuan), located in the midstream of Ta-ko-kan River where various tribes gathered, for example, this paper tries to figure out the reasons why Changchou people became the most powerful tribe via the analysis on the process of their fighting for land rights and the land distribution. This paper also reconfirms Lin Pen-yuan’s lands, rental business and the locations of the aboriginal boundary and further discovers the fact that Chanchou people’s becoming the most powerful tribe has much to do with Family Lin’s business passed down generation to generation from 1828. Family Lin got more rental business rights and thus gradually became one of the most important families in this area. In the process of people’s reclaiming and rental business running, Ta-ko-kan River fully showed it’s multiple meanings of both nature and the boundary among various tribes.
