The purpose of this case study was to explore classroom events of a second grade class of a vocational high school in Center Taiwan by analyzing teacher’s logs. The research adopted qualitative research. A teacher and her fifty-four students were the main subjects. The methods of collecting data included teaching logs, interviewed, students’ personal data, students’ weekly diaries and other related documents. According to grounded theory, data was analyzed. The main findings were as follows: 1.Class events of a vocational high school teacher recorded included whole class events and individual student cases. The contents contained five issues: management of class routines, student peers’ problems, students’ behavior deviations, students’ learning attitudes and parenting education. 2. When dealing with class events, the vocational high school teacher paid attention on the students’ motivations and feelings. She combined inside and outside school sources to solve the class problems. 3. The teacher developed few practical strategies of classroom management as fallowing: (a.) Dealing with students’ affairs, teacher needs to realize their motivations and feelings. (b.)Teacher should help class build good atmosphere for learning and class cohesion positively. (c.)Teacher should value and cultivate students’ character. (d.)Teacher should give students love and encouragements, and appreciate students’ merits.
