The main purpose of this study was to understand marital attitudes of the female new Immigrants. We developed a questionnaire about the marital attitudes and used it to measure marital attitudes of the female new Immigrants. 263 participants were invited to fill in the questionnaire in Meinong Hakka area. The data collection was analyzed statistically through SPSS statistic software (version 14.0), in which descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-test and one-way ANOVA. Major findings of the research were summarized as follows: First, the sense of marital attitudes of female new Immigrants was medium strong. They tended to regard the marriage as a lifelong matter and a commitment to each other. They also considered marriages to be lasting. Second, there was a significant correlation between marital attitudes of female new Immigrants and the following variables respectively, including their age, nationality, religion, parents’ marital status, atmosphere of the original family and monthly income. According the above conclusions, the researcher listed some suggestions to the government organization, school and other researchers.
