The purpose of this study is to explore theoreticalfoundations of humanistic teaching in the context ofhumanistic psychology. The major method employed is "theoryanalysis". There are four parts in this article, the first ofthese parts describes the motivation and objectives,the methodadopted and scope for this study; Part II traces the origin ofhumanistic psychology ; Part III expounds humanisticpsychology and its significance in teaching theory; and PartIV serves as a skeleton conclusion.
