During the process of selecting airport sites, the decision makers have to evaluate all kinds of alternatives under a fuzzy circumstance which the whole environment is uncertain and the future is unknown. Due to such a fact, the airport location problem is a fuzzy group decision making problem. For these reasons, we decide to apply Fuzzy Delphi method to deal with the group decision problem and use fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method to reduce the complexity of the airport location problem. By using the above-mentioned methods, decision makers can get different possible best airport sites under different scenarios, From such information, the decision makers can make the better decision for the uncertain future. Besides, the evaluation process suggested by this study considers the utilities of these three different affected aspects--the airport operator, the users and the non-users, and conforms to the government regulations as well. The evaluation process can help decision makers select the optimal airport location which meets the demand. It will be helpful for the planning of airport construction in the near future.
