　　　　　本文探討二十一世紀文化中國建築實踐的一個新理論視野形成的可能性和有關核心問題。文章以近現代史為背景，將大陸中國(在文化中國和東亞環境中)在二十世紀後期的發展，看成是一個新現代體系歷史發展的起步。文章以探索新的現代性為目標，重疊聯絡中國思想傳統和西方對現代性的現代批判，提出「解構一否定純粹理性-道家佛學」及「重構-肯定實用理性-儒家」的雙重相關邏輯線索，以此改造古典的主體、理性和現代性，進而建構一個有中國文化要素的新現代性。文章以此為推論，配合「地方」和「流動」的空間二元性，並以跨文化對話為積極力量，提出文化中國建築實踐理論話語的四項策略性立場和目標。
　　　　　This paper explores a theoretical perspective for architectural practice and design discourse of cultural China in the twenty-first century. It proposes to read the development in mainland China (within cultural China and East Asia) in the late twentieth century as a beginning of a new modernity. This paper correlates Chinese intellectual tradition with Western postmodern critique on modernity, and develops a two-line correlation, that of "deconstruction-negetion-Daoism-Buddhism" and "reconstruction-affirmation-Confucian-ism", which offers a new matrix for a reconfiguration of subject, reason and modernity, and a way of constructing a Chinese modernity. Relating this articulation with a spatial dichotomy of "place" and "flow", and considering cross-cultural conversation as a positive discursive practice, this paper proposes four strategic positions for the new architectural practice and discourse.
