Guo Moruo’s Luo-ie was a rewrite based on the letters which were written by his Japanese second wife Anna. The story was about the unfinished love between Hong Shiwu and a Japanese nurse Kikuko;almost the same time, Yu Dafu wrote his novel Nan-qian, which coincidentally was a love story without fruit between a Chinese Foreign student and a Japanese female. And we find out these two studying abroad authors, in their strong Christian flavor works, showed their unique complex of the Exotic love.
