This study designs parent-kid educational learningsheets that advocate the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault, targeting third and fourth graders, whom the researcher is currently teaching. Results from the study indicate that the sample of students who received the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault education were different from the sample of students who did not receive the learningsheets. Differences between the two groups arose in their understanding of, attitude towards, and cognitive knowledge of the prevention of the domestic violence and sexual assault. However, whether or not the prevention tools were utilized, the ideas and suggestions from the parents and students in both samples can be important future considerations during the design of prevention education and teaching methods.
