The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects on cognition, experience and Identity of folk and culture after participating festivals through convenience sampling and statistical analysis. Tourists attending 2012 Song-Jiang Battle Array Festival are the subjects of this study. The result shows that Song-Jiang Battle Array is a meaningful activity. The interviewers are positive toward the innovation and transformation of Song-Jiang Battle Array performance. They also identify with succession of traditional folk acrobatics through participating and experience. However, bystanders are much more than real participants. The background of tourists is totally different, but the results are different only on participation and cognition, authentic experience, and culture identification. Through the verification of structural equation model, the three factors of participation and cognition, authentic experience, and culture identification are certainly interworked with each other. Therefore, government and social organization should hold the related activities continually. Nevertheless, the style and content of traditional folk acrobatics should be adjusted for rooting in.
