Investigating the attitudes toward librarianship of working staffs in the library of Taipei Minicipal Primary Schools and analyzing the effects of the attitudes are the main purpose of this study. A shelf-made questionnaire was administered to 167 library staffs of 123 Taipei Municipal Primary Schools. The obtained data were analyzed by T-test and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results indicated that: 1. The library staffs’ cognition to School Library’s functions, services and characteristics have been shown positive attitude. 2. The sex, age, position, experience in library, creative and warmth organizational climate, and the personality of achievement, change, nurturance, affiliation the most important variables to produce the significant difference among the respondents in their attitudes toward librarianship.
