?吧哖事件發生於一九一五年，是臺灣人民最後一次以武力為手段的抗日行動，由顧日本軍警年事件中進行焚莊屠殺之暴行，造成當地人民慘遭大量死亡，但是，因為架辭政府刻意隱瞞，致使大屠殺之真相無法呈現。本文利用一九一五年當地的「戶口調查簿」及「戶口調查除戶簿」等第一手史料，逐戶清查、比對與統計，終於證明日本軍警確實有屠殺村民的行為，並統計出較正確的被殺害人數，還原長久以來被湮沒的大屠殺真相。

　　　　　The Chiao-ba-nien incident was the last armed protest of the Taiwanese against Japan in 1915. in this incident, lost of people died at Phong-Chung, because of the violence of the Japanese military police. However, the truth of the slaughter was covered by the Japanese government. For this paper, we checked and counted the local permanent residence booklets: we can prove that the slaughter did happen, and we can count the number of people who died more accurately to bring back the truth of his incident that has been covered over for a long time.
