This paper is to explore the discourse reproduction of life education in the context of Taiwan culture. From its own experiences, a great part of Taiwanese tradition is constituted independent from Chinese culture. So the Chinese discourse would not be the only resources of life education discourse for Taiwan. From this consideration, the author argues that many aspects of Taiwanese local elements play a more important role in the discourse reproduction of life education. Four issues are raised here to prove that Taiwanese discourses inbreed with Western discourses during the process of modernization. They make the reproduction more fruitful.
