本研究在探究婚姻中丈夫外遇事件揭發後，妻子的因應方式。為探究研究問題，本研究採詮釋現象學為方法論，透過深度抽樣的策略，深度訪談了八位丈夫外遇的妻子，並將所蒐集到的文本資料加以分析、組織並賦予意涵，最後研究者將這些發現歸納為六種因應策略，分別為：一、呼天搶地的逼迫策略，二、束手無策的被動策略，三、忍氣吞聲的挽回策略，四、先發制人的疏離策略，五、緊迫逼人的操控策略，六、動之以理的協商策略。並提出此六種因應策略的相關特性。

The main purpose of this study is to explore the Coping Strategies of extramarital affairs. The study adopts qualitative research method. According to philosophical views of the hermeneutic phenomenology, the study proceeds to collect, analyze and explain research data. By strategy of intensity sampling, eight participants whose spouses had extramarital affairs were invited in this research by in-depth interview. The study generalizes a conclusion that there are six types of coping strategies of extramarital affairs: (1) the forcing strategy (2) the passive strategy (3) the retrieving strategy (4) the remote strategy (5) the controlling strategy (6) the negotiating strategy. Some characters and suggestions are proposed at last.
