臺灣的家庭暴力（後稱家暴）問題從過去的不甚重視至近年來相關研究輩出，不僅在受暴婦女的議題研究方面有很大的進步外，並開始將視野放在家暴加害者的相關研究，以不同角度切入，使家暴議題不再是一個陌生領域。然而，目前的研究方向多傾向於將加害者或受害者分開討論。本研究希望先檢視目前家暴與加害者理論及相關文獻，再將家族與婚姻治療領域中的系統互動與能量互動概念運用於伴侶暴力關係中，藉此重新提出伴侶家暴處遇有別於先前加害者與受害者處遇的新觀點。家暴議題並非單方面研究被害者或加害者，而是需要回到整體能量互動，或是以生命的角度來看待，用更寬廣或更高的視野來面對所需處理的家暴事件。除此之外，文中也提出東方與西方哲學對於家暴處遇可能的差異性，建議家暴處遇應同時參考西方哲學與東方思想，採取「西方哲學為體，東方思想為質」的融合性作法。其中也將與東方思想相近的「夏威夷療法」一個人需要為任何處境負起百分之百責任的觀點融入本文家暴處遇之新東方哲學觀點中。

Domestic violence has only recently been addressed in Taiwan, as researchers and therapists have been making progress in women victims. Previous research explored abusers, while more recent research is addressing those who have been abused. This article applies a theory drawn from the field of the marriage and family therapy (MFT) looking at both victims and abusers within the family unit. The systemic interaction or energy interaction drawn from MFT can bring a new look on couple's violent behaviors. This new perspective explores violent interactions in a holistic manner avoiding falling into the duality of the couple's relationship such as ＂who is right,＂ or ＂who is wrong.＂ Instead, it is about the patterns of interactions between couples. Suggestions are made on how to use a higher position based on system/energy interaction and life perspective. It is important to treat domestic violence as a turning point for anyone who is involved in the violence. Like ＂crisis＂ in Chinese culture, this perspective contains crisis and also the meaning of opportunity. Moreover, eastern and western philosophies are addressed about new treatment plans and are incorporated. The therapy method from Hawaii, Ho'oponopono, is part of the discussion. It is based on one hundred percent responsibility, which means taking responsibility for everyone's actions within the family, not only for one's actions. This therapy also focuses on the problem from within; to change our reality means to change within one's self.
