The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of yoga program on the body image and body awareness in adolescents. Eighty-eight participants were divided into experimental (yoga) and control group. The experimental group, 41 samples (20.15±0.79) were offered yoga program for 90 minutes per week for 12 weeks. The control group, 47 subjects (19.26±0.44), has not to be offered any yoga exercise. Prior and after 12 weeks of yoga program, our subjects completed Body "Awareness Ability Inventory (BAAI)" and "Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ)". The t test was used for analysis of the data. Our findings indicate that yoga exercise program positively influence body image and body awareness in adolescents.
