題名：Taiwan College Students' Perceived Parent Childrearing Attitude and its Relationship to Rational/Irrational Belief

本研究採相關調查法。基於文獻閱讀所獲得之父母管教態度與理性信念之理論，並參考既存量表 (Pumroy，1966；賴，1972；揚，1983) 及個人新編父母管教起度量表 (何，1991) 。研究者嚐試探討如下問題：(1) 父母管教態度與理性/非理性信念間之關係 (2) 家庭因素 (父母親之教育程度、婚姻美滿度、主要照顧者、主要影響人) 與父母管教態度及理性/非理性信念之關係 (3) 個人因素 (學業成績、主修、年級、排行) 與父母管教態度及理性/非理性信念間之關係 (4) 社會機制 (師範對非師範大學) 與父母管教態度及理性/非理性信念間之關係。 本研究歷經兩次預試，以建立父母管教態度測驗之信度與效度。最後題數為80題，包括嚴格、保護、溺愛、拒絕、期待及不一致6個分量表。信度採內部一致性考驗，各分量表之Cronbachα值，依次為.851; .651; .700; .416; 839及.909。效度採因素分析法中之主成份分析，各分量表第一因素之解釋變異量分別為27.4; 20.6; 23.4; 20.1; 33.6及40.2。 (詳見第三章)。正式測驗則以隨機抽樣的13所大專院校 (4所師範大學，9所非師範大學) 學生941人為對象，并以相關、複迴歸及ANOVA分析各項假設。結果顯示： (1) 父母管教態度之六種類型 (嚴格、保護、溺愛、拒絕、期待、不一致) 與理性量表之四種因素 (低挫折忍受力、悲觀、完美及非自我肯定) 間均有某種程度之相關 (達顯著性)。 (2) 家庭因素對父母管教態度及理性/非理性信念，其相關亦達顯著性。其中並以婚姻美滿度及父親的教育程度，影響較大。 (3) 個人因素 (5.79%) 較家庭因素 (2.87%) 更能預測大學生的理性信念，至於個人因素預測父母管教態度部份，其解釋量在7%至9.6%之間。 (4) 師範生與院校大學生與非師範院校大學生在父母管教態度及理性量表部份，均有極顯著之差異。師範大學生所知覺之保護及拒絕兩種父母管教態度平均數均較非師範大學生為高，顯示較低之保護及拒絕態度。理性量表之總分及分量表部份，師範大學生比非師範大學生均低，顯示非理性信念較低。 根據所得之各項資料，本研究之各項假設均遭推翻，顯示家庭、個人因素對父母管教態度及理性/非理性信念間之相關均達顯著性。這種結果并能部份印証家庭、個人、社會與父母管教態度及理性/非理性信念間之因徑模式。至於本研究之建議包括三方向─即對此模式更充份的結構變項之探討，單一向度父母管教態度量表之發展及學校課程中，心理教育課程之增列與加強。
