This report presented the learning styles and teaching styles of students in the Programs of Studing for Education Credits (P.S.E.C.) in National Kaohsiung Normal University. Results indicated that: (一 ) The order of the preferences for learning styles of students in P.S.E.C. was:(a)Acceptance style, (b) Exploration style,(c)Dictation style, (d)Chart style, (e)Response style, (f)Drill style,(g)Interest style,(h)Performance style.( 二 )There were no significant interaction of learning styles between two sexs or between students majored in natural science and those majored in social science. (三 ) There were no significant learning style preference difference between students majored in natural science and those majored in social science. Different sex students showed significant preference difference in some learning styles. Male students exhibited stronger preferences in the Chart and the Performance learning styles than female students did.( 四 ) Personality (eccentric) presented significant influences on the Performance style and Response style in learning.
