The purpose of this study is to investigate the status and ideal tutor system in the university and college of Kaohsiung area. A questionnaire, containing close and open-ended form, was developed to implement the survey. Cluster-stratified random sampling method was used to get 1000 subjects, including the tutors, staff, and students in four universities and three colleges, but the numbers of valid sample are just 625 eventually. Statistical techniques, such as frequency, percentage, and Chi-Square test were used to analyze the data, in order to understand the opinions and intention of the valid sample. According to the results, the researchers provide some conclusions and suggestions to improve the implementation of university and college tutor system.
