     本研究以實習教師於實習過程中所撰寫的實習札記(logs)為原始資料的真實震撼(reality shock)經驗分析,從真實震撼的內涵與研究方法兩方面作較大的著墨。多面向尺度測量法(multidimensional scaling, MDS)協助展現各震撼事件間的關係,並釐清研究者看待震撼事件的格局觀點。研究發現震撼事件至少包括兩個面向:實習老師被對待的方式vs.學生被對待的方式;以及教學事務的複雜度vs.校園人際相處的複雜度。這些研究發現,源自許多本土性的真實震撼(如體罰、教學業績的壓力、觀摩中輟生的處理……),也因方法學上的突破,對於此一研究議題賦予新意。
