Life and work pattern today are goal-oriented, focusing on efficiency and performance evaluation. Being busy with severe competition is naturally the picture of a modern-day social life. People often feel a pressing stress as their status in body-mind-spirit tends to be tense. So for modern people, leisure has more efficacy of providing physical and mental adjustment and relaxation than in the past and is therefore more required. Besides discussing the meaning, purpose, value and importance of leisure behavior toward modern people's body and mind health and analyzing the positivity of leisure behavior on different dimensions of people's body-mind-spirit, this study also brings up the concept of adjusting one's body and mind status by different type of leisure activities through a self body and mind detection method. Conclusions and suggestions are made to promote the concept of self management on leisure benefit and to describe the quality featuring an ideal body and mind status, hoping that through an overall deep recognition on the function of leisure behavior and the application of the concept of self body and mind detection management, physical and mental status should be more healthy and leisure benefits be increased.
