　　　　　This paper presents the current status of the LEAD project which is aimed at developing a web-based distance learning environment. The author first introduces the related theories applied in this project, followed by a description of topic choosing and script design. At the end, the author introduces the network structure and several techniques which potentially will be utilized in this project.
