This thesis is a story about the dialectic handling between the situation and human affectivity of Animus and Anima. In the centuries of time and space, I encounter Xu Zhimo through exploring our life stories. We gaze at the river of time in Chinese culture with humility, sincerity, warmth and understanding. We explore how the history develops in the perspective of hinese culture-psychological formation and how that creates the “life crisis” in Chinese. Therefore, we can liberate the long-term repression of the "Anima" and commit to the praxis of affectivity in life towards future. In the process of the study, I’ve realised that one of the secrets of psychobiography is to propose “the First Question” of the master and myself. Meanwhile, in recent years, the department of psychology at Fu Jen Catholic University has been also developing " Inter-Subjectivity Psychobiography". Under the confluence of these two approaches, this paper attempts to combine self-narrative and psychobiography in order to reconnect "the Lyric Tradition in China" with using "life story" as the soil. By the dialectic handling between the situation and human affectivity, we are moving towards appreciating the beauty of a person in the sediments of culture-psychological formation. After Freud’ s century work, the approach of psychobiography is focusing towards the Poetics of Life of " Inter-Subjectivity Psychobiography". At the same time, it liberates the praxis of affectivity in nowadays society.
