本研究旨在以質的研究法、文獻探討及理論分析推演，來探討禪宗修悟過程，與 休閒體驗的產生，兩者之間在理論形式、歷程、目的及所蘊藏的精神層面內涵，是否有異同 及相關。並對 一、「自由」之於禪悟與「自由」之於休閒的意義， 二、禪對二分法的破除與休閒絕對經驗 三、禪悟與休閒體驗的比較分析 四、「禪式休閒」的概念 逐一深入探討與比較分析，最終期能以生活禪化與生活休閒化所結合的「禪式休閒」概念， 來提昇國人的休閒體驗層次。

　　　　　The purpose of the study was to probe into the differences & relations on the theory、 the process、 the purpose and the meaning between the consciousness of Zen & the learning through leisure experience by way of quality researching、document reviews & theory analysis inferring. And we also probed into the following questions: 1. the meaning of Freedom to the consciousness of Zen & to leisure 2. the all-or-none world's broken by Zen & the absolute experience of leisure 3. the comparisons between the consciousness of Zen and the learning through leisure experience 4. the general idea of Zen-style leisure And at the end, we expect to improve the level of our people's leisure experience and quality by the general idea of Zen-style leisure.
