　　　　　本計畫針對我國現階段帶動製造業持續發展，迎接經濟全球化挑戰重要動力的機電產業，進行有關勞資關係與工作生活品質之調查研究，並透過參與由全日本電機、電子、情報關連產業勞動組合連合會（電機連合Denki Rengo），於1985年開始倡導，目前已進行至第三次，共有十七個國家參與之研究架構，進行國際性、貫時性的比較分析。所謂機電產業是指在ISIC中293, 300, 311-315, 319, 321-323的編號中所含括的產業類別，本計畫將範圍限於資訊、電子、家電三個類別產業，選定M廠與T廠兩個廠商，以其生產線勞工、工會幹部和管理階層為研究對象。研究目的乃在於，一方面瞭解我國機電產業的國際化狀況，以及公司組織和勞動生活品質的樣態；另方面可透過與上述合作參與國的比較，瞭解我國經濟全球化位階，勞動生活品質與人力資源等在地條件的特性與發展。此外，透過本研究，除可增進學術的國際交流，加強國內學者參與國際合作研究的經驗之外，其相關的研究成果與發現，亦可作為政府的產業政策、業者的經營管理、以及工會的運作發展之參考。
　　　　　The Study is proposed to investigate labor-management relationship and quality of work life (QWL) of electronic-information industry in Taiwan, whose ISIC: 293, 300, 311-315, 319, 321-323. T Company and M company were to be chosen as company samples of the survey. This industry is the leading sector in Taiwan and it is coping with challenges from global competition. Human capital is the critical factor for social Economic development. Under the impact of Globalization, we should know the influence on the development of the Labor-Management Relationship and the Quality of work life in the world, especially in Taiwan. Through participation in an international long-term collaborative research team, which was organized since 1982 and initiate by Denki Rengo of Japan, it may be found that the structure and the trend of globalization and localization in Labor-Management Relationship and the Quality of work life in the world and in Taiwan are examined respectively by doing comparative analysis of their development among countries. We hope this research will be able to contribute to our self-understanding of the structure of the social economical development in electronic-information industry sector. Now, the international research team is going forward to the third stage and the members of the states have increased to 16 countries. This research should be able to contribute to academically research and policy formation for Taiwan, and encourage international cooperation and interaction in doing research.
