本研究之主要目的在於了解當前臺灣青少年網際網路使用現況、網路成癮現象與生活壓力間的關係；區分網路成癮高危險群在背景變項、網路使用行為與生活壓力大小上與一般網路使用者之差異；探求說明不同的網路成癮集群之特質與異同；並探索網路成癮高危險群的最佳預測因子。 本研究採問卷調查法，以高中部地區954名青少年為研究對象，經施以自編的「網路使用狀況調查表」、「青少年網路成癮量表」、「青少年生活壓力量表」等量表，並且以敘述性統計、t檢定、卡方檢定、區別分析、集群分析法、階層迴歸法進行資料分析。 本研究之主要發現如下： 一、青少年網路成癮高危險群上網時間較長、學業成績較差、網齡較短。 二、網路成癮高危險群有較高的生活壓力。 三、每日上網時間的長短與生活壓力的大小，可以有效區分是否為網路成癮高危險群。 四、經由集群分析，可將網路成癮高危群分為「色情網站成癮高危險群」及「網路遊戲成癮高危險群」、「虛擬友誼成癮高危險群」三個集群。 五、「家庭壓力」與「女性」是預測網路成癮的最佳變項，其中女性是負向預測；「環境壓力」、「低學業成績」、「個人壓力」是預測網路成庠的次佳變項。 本研究最後根據研究結果，對青少年之網路用與學生輔導提出各項建議，供育人員以及南研究之參考。
The purposes of the study were to explore the internet using behaviors, internet addiction, life stress among adolescence in Taiwan. The study examed the difference of addiction proneness and internet using behaviors of subjects in difference background variable, found out discriminate factors to internet addiction, explored the characters of different addiction-pattern clusters, and fossicked the best predictive factors to high-risk internet addiction. Subjects of 954 adolescence were evaluated by the instruments, including Internet using Questionnaire, Life Stress Scale, and Internet Addiction Scale, and Internet Addiction Scale. The data were analyzed by t-test, Chi-square Test, Discriminate Analysis, Cluster Analysis, and Hierarchical Regression Analysis. The main finding were as follows: 1. Internet addicted subjects spent more time on internet. Besides, they had poorer grades and short internet-using history. 2. Internet addicted subjects had higher scores of life stress. 3. On-line time and life stress could significantly distinguish internet addicted and non-addicted subjects. 4. According to Cluster Analysis, internet addicted subjects could divide to three clusters, including internet pornography proneness, video game addiction proneness, and virtual friendship addiction proneness. 5. Family stress and feminie were the best predictive factors to internet addiction. Whereas feminie was a negative anticipation. The second-best predictive factors were environment stress, low academic achievement, and personal stress. Finally, some suggestions for teachers, schools, students and further study were made according to the findings.
