教育領導者應追求更高層次的人生意義及教育使命之「理想面」，以提升個人的生命與領導境界。有靈性修養的教育領導者具有超越性，不追逐個人權力與利益，因此也易於在潛移默化中影響學校教職員生。因此，校長宜培養靈性領導能力，並於辦學及領導師生過程中融入靈性領導，使大家共同為追求教育理想而努力。基於此，本研究目的在於探討靈性及靈性領導的相關理論，並嘗試建構校長靈性領導（spiritual leadership）的行為構面，並以統計驗證校長靈性領導之理論模式，以提供教育領導者之參考及作為未來繼續探究的基礎。 從統計分析及選題結果顯示，得到五個層面分別是：教育意義、教育使命、關懷、利他精神及建立社群。在選取校長靈性領導之五個層面後，再次進行統計分析，結果顯示本正式量表有良好的信度及效度，由此可見，本研究所建構的校長靈性領導理論模式及量表有其價值性與適用性。最後，依據研究結果，提出數項建議以供未來校長靈性領導實務運用與研究的參考。
The main purpose of this paper is to construct the dimensions of principal’s spiritual leadership. First, this paper explored the fundamentals of spiritual leadership. Besides, the author tried to build the dimensions of spiritual leadership according to the literature. Then, this paper employed questionnaire surveys and statistics to construct the dimensions of principal’s spiritual leadership. Finally, according to the results of this study, the researcher tried to make some suggestions for school administrators and future studies.
