The "Revised Mandarin Chinese Dictionary" is written by the National Languages Committee Executive, Ministry of Education, Executive Yuan in Taiwan. It is the most popular Mandarin and Taiwanese dictionary in Taiwan. However, there are some mistakes in the explanation of these entries such as inappropriate term and improper definition. Some entries also should be increased and some must be deleted. The reasons of these situations include ideological state apparatuses of KMT, conservative social climate, not enough understanding of Taiwanese history, etc. I expect the dictionary can early to be revised comprehensively.
