數位落差是每個國家在邁入資訊社會時不得不關注的問題,有鑑於台灣的數位落差研究多以量化進行,未能了解縮短數位落差的過程,因此,本研究特挑選屬於偏遠山區的雲林縣古坑鄉桂林社區,透過參與觀察、非正式訪談、社區居民回顧、以及相關文件資料收集等方式,收集整理出偏遠社區縮短數位落差的歷程。之後,並透過互動角色、數位落差內涵、資訊科技意象、與在地文化等觀點,對歷程進行剖析,以提出本研究的結論。
The digital divide is the problem which every country has to pay attention to while striding toward the information-intensive society. Whereas the most researches of digital divide in Taiwan are quantitative research, but they never discover the process of bridging Digital Divide.
This research choose the Guie-Lin community which belongs to the remote mountain area of Yun-Lin County as research object, and adopts methods such as participate observation, unstructured interview, the retrospect of community residents, and collecting the associated documents and materials etc.
This research gathers and arranges the process of bridging digital divide on remote community. Finally, it analyzes the process by means of interaction role, information literacy, information technology image and culture of localization, and gives conclusions.
