Sustainable tourism service is one of the most important issue. It should be supply with public- private partnerships, not by public sectors or private sector separately, for the three wins of public sectors, private sectors and tourists. This paper discusses the strength and weakness of public- private partnerships to supply sustainable tourism service with a case study of Yingge International Ceramics Festival Case 2005. The method used in this paper is literatures analysis and deep interviews with six key persons who had involved in Yingge International Ceramics Festival. The contribution of this paper is the analysis of strengths and weaks of public- private partnerships, its value, and the effective way to promote its strength and to diminish its weakness. The findings in the case are: (1) public sectors in PPPS highlight on culture value, different from industrial value, emphasized by private sectors. (2) in order to supply sustainable tourism service, both cultural and industrial value should be kept in balance. (3) transportation and environmental protection in Yingge should be improved. The paper also suggests: in order to supply sustainable tourism service, PPPs should strengthen internal communication, coordination and common share of resources.
