This is a pilot study about career guidance form the multicultural counseling point of view. The major purposes of this study were to explore the effects of narrative approach career support group program on senior high school aboriginal students, and provide applying reference for school guidance work in the future. The program integrated ideas of multicultural counseling, career development theories, narrative therapy and narrative career counseling as a whole. Twelve senior high school aboriginal students participated in this study. The research used depth-interview to collect data, and applied narrative analysis method to implement data analysis. The results found that the group could increase not only students self-concept, confidence, interpersonal relationship, and communication skills, but also self-identity in native cultural, heritage, language, and ethnic consciousness. Besides, the program helped students promote self-realization, learning motivation and develop future career goals.
