“The Argumentative and Expository genre” is one of the modern Writings in the Vernacular genre and often used in academic and general reports. Updated-however, according to the expression of language learning and affective order, the teaching of the Argumentative and Expository genre is slower than Other Literary Genre. Moreover, with exam based teaching writings, high school writing course are more inclined to other writing genres and hence delayed the teaching of Argumentative and Expository genres. After the students enter university, When they have to write a thoughtful, logical, theoretical Argumentative and Expository genre, it is always difficult for them to deviate from their past writing genres, and hence often taken the writing genres incorrectly or confused with the method of writing. But having a good discussion may influence on their ability of expression and discourse, hence it can not be ignored.Currently, there are many related research for the Argumentative and Expository genre, but there are still many issues that need to be further discussed. The most important thing is how the abstract theory may be implemented into the teaching. Therefore, this paper is discussing how actual teaching experience and reviewing student writing problems may offer solutions to problems and teaching methods. The understanding of genre is to study the structure of concepts, and examples of the fundamental. I focused on the vital discussion of the two most basic structures:”Argument form” and ”Causal form” . And with the thoughts, it will form a two way teaching of ”reading” and ”writing ”. Last, we will know how to use the examples in the Argumentative and Expository genre, including how to learn and write.
