本人運用人種誌的研究技術完成了一項個案研究，這項研究的目的是探討師範生教育實習中的潛在課程。在田野工作中，有些對質的研究取向不熟悉的人，常常提出一些方法論上的問題。本文即嘗試回答如下的這些問題： 一、理論在研究過程中居於何種地位？ 二、研究對象具有代表性嗎？ 三、質的研究客觀嗎？ 四、研究者在參與觀察中扮演何種角色？ 五、如何減低「觀察者效應」？ 六、如何進行「同理的理解」？ 七、如何「不理所當然」？

The author of this essay once used ethnographic research techniques to complete a case study entitled "The hidden curriculum in student teach-ing: An ethnographic study." In the process of conducting the fieldwork, the author was often posed certain questions by those who were not fam-iliar with the qualitative approach. This essay therefore attempt to answer these questions as follows: 1.What's the role theory plays in the process of qualitative research? 2.Does the research sample have representativeness? 3.Is qualitative research really objective? 4.What role does the researcher playas participating observer? 5.How to minimize 'observer effect'? 6.How to conduct 'empathetic understanding'? 7.How to take nothing for granted?
