本文擬依細讀原則，從《九歌》中揀擇能引發「時間感受」的字詞，依循其字詞大義、以掌握這些字詞在文本義構中最合宜的意指，並觀照其在詩句構成中的承啓關係，期能發掘這些「時間性」字詞在詮釋《九歌》底蘊及詩歌美感的關鍵性。論述的文本依據將以東漢王逸的《楚辭章句》為主，但並不依其篇章順序進行，主因若干篇章在許多重要的字詞運用上具有可相互參照的功能。這篇論文希望提供《九歌》研究在文本解析上一個可行的進路，它終極的關懷無疑是美學的。

Although a large number of studies have been made on several aspects to the Nine Songs 九歌, little is known about the timing of this grand work. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to offer a new interpretation of the Nine Songs from the perspective of time. In the discussion, I will examine the time related words sieve out from the Nine Songs, and focus on how they would influence the representation of the images of the poem. I will analyze all the sections of the Nine Songs one by one. Finally, my ultimate concern is undoubtedly the Nine Songs' aesthetic.
