題名:大學生本土語言態度研究:以聯大語傳系為例

本文主要是探討台灣大學生本土語言態度的社會語言學研究。研究個案為國立聯合大學台灣語文與傳播學系學生。研究方法採用問卷調查法,以改編之「本土語言學習滿意度調查問卷」作為資料蒐集的工具,針對受試者的本土語言態度進行量化調查研究。研究結果如下:(一)女性在本土語言的認同度上高於男性。(二) 母語背景為客語的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於母語背景為國語、原住民語的受試者,與母語背景為閩南語的受試者相比,沒有顯著差異。(三)本土語言使用流利者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於不流利者。(四)長期居住於都市地區的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於居住於非都市地區的受試者。(五) 除了母語習得和學校語言的學習之外,曾經學習過其他外語的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於未學習者。(六)未來願意往學術界深造的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於不願意者。(七)父母親鼓勵學習本土語言的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於不鼓勵者。(八)父親職業是工農(或家管) 的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於從事其他職業的父親的受試者。母親職業是商人(或公務員或教師者) 的受試者,在本土語言的認同度上,高於從事其他職業的母親的受試者。尾末,本文提出提升大學生本土語言態度的具體建議。
The survey aims to explore the language attitudes of Taiwanese university students towards Taiwanese local languages in a sociolinguistic perspective. The students in the department of Taiwan Language and Communication at National United University are considered as the research population. The questionnaire method based on the satisfaction survey of Taiwanese local languages is adopted as a tool to collect information. Followings are the findings: 1. Female students are more positive than male students in local language attitude. 2. Students whose native language is Hakka are more positive than those whose is Taiwan Mandarin and aboriginal language in local language attitude. There is no statistically significant difference between students whose native language is Hakka and Southern Min in local language attitude. 3. Students who have better competence in their native languages are more positive than those who do not in local language attitude. 4. Students who have lived in unban areas for a long time are more positive than those who have not in local language attitude. 5. Students who have learned a non-native language and a non-school compulsory language are more positive than those who have not in local language attitude. 6. Students who are willing to pursue advanced studies in academic circles are more positive than those who are not in local language attitude. 7. Students who have been encouraged to learn local languages by their parents are more positive than those who have not in local language attitude. 8. Students whose fathers are workers and peasants(or housekeepers) are more positive than those whose fathers are not in local language attitude. Students whose mothers are businessmen(or public servants or teachers) are more positive than those whose mothers are not in local language attitude. Suggestions about how to build university students’ positive language attitudes are also provided.
