The classical poem has not withered away in today vernacular literature time. There are still many poets, whose creations continuously show up. Their achievements are significant, but still provoked some criticism. In the Ying society, Luo Shang criticized frequently in the poems. His criticisms are as follows - “being a vulgar study”, “ignoring the people daily life” “not praising sincerely or not satirizing properly”, “taking short-cut and not following the regular routines ”, “seeking fames, or caring for fames excessively”, and“considering oneself as a highly respected person.”He was disappointed in the classical poem's development. However, while he was criticizing, in fact he also expected that he could guide the development of the classical poem. He stressed that a poet should not be greedy and must continue learning to enhance his experience and ability. A good poem should be tender and strong, clear and powerful, elegant and stylish, showing the public resentment and common beliefs. Moreover, to polish the literary criticism, a poet should use modest and creative ways to criticize. Although all of these ideas advocated by Luo Shang had been mentioned by other scholars, they are still very meaningful and should not be neglected.
