The purpose of this study was to compare the differences on the social adjustment between Taiwan Aboriginal and Non-aboriginal elementary students. The revised getting along inventory was adminstered to 429 elementary school students. Results of the study showed that : (1)The attitude of acceptance of self and acceptance of others are have positive correlation with environment adjustment. The two predictors explain 30% variance in environment adjustment among the two group students. (2) Non-aboriginal students showed more acceptance of self than Aboriginal students. There are significant differences existed between groups of different sexes. (3) There are significant differences between two groups on the attitude of acceptance of others. (4) Females students showed better adjustmant than male students; significant differenes existed between two groups in this respect. Recommendations include the educational policy, guidance services and cultural heritage reservation for Aboriginal people were made for helping them to have a better social adjustment.
