地圖學的技術轉移,帶動了地圖設計研究的改變,電腦軟硬體系統的進步,也使地圖學者好的設計理念容易在電腦中執行。在過去的相關研究中,因應地圖設計自動化的需要,已歸納出相當多的地圖元製圖法則。本文將這些法則配合實際的主圖,轉換成可執行的形式,以電腦交談方式應用在地理資訊系統的繪圖軟體中,証實其具有系統研發的可行性。為評估這找法則的有效性,本研究以繪圖軟體中,現成的配置,和依據法則設計的配對樣本地圖,經由問卷調查回應的統計結果,顯示以法則配置的地圖品質確實較為優良。
The technological transition in cartography has caused change in research on cartographic design. Computers and software system have allowed cartographers to develop well design concept by manual methods. Over the past and related research inside, in answer of map design automation of demand, have already induced out a lots of layout design rule. This paper match with these rules actual of thematic map, conversion can carry out of form, apply the mapping software in geography information system in the way of computer confabulation inside, proof its have the possibility of the systematic development. For evaluating the usefulness of these rules, this research then mapping software inside default design, and design according to the rule of cartographic layout couples the sample map, investigate the response through the questionnaire of covariance result, show with the map quality that rule install design than is good.
