By observing his Taiwanese folksongs, vernacular lyrics, vernacular antiphonal ballads, and script-imitated antiphonal ballads, we believe that these songs and ballads were important transitional targets of exploring the developing process from traditional “Qi Zì Zǎi”(七字仔)to propagandistic songs of MǐnNán language films, MǐnNán language popular songs and MǐnNán language dramas. Through these ballads, we can preserve the precious historical data , and furthermore analysis their development and time significance.
