There were many confucianism scholars who liked reading ”Zhuang Zi” in the Song Dynasty. But in the book of ”Zhuang Zi” there were many critics to Kong Zi's opinion; therefore, causing Confucianism scholars standpoint appearing awkward. In order to avoid the predicament, when the scholars discussesd Zhuang Zi and Confucianist's relations, they often advocated that Zhuang Zi's individual thought and the Confucian touhghts may intercommunicate, then thought Zhuang Zi's thought stems from the Confucianist. Wang, Anshi thought that Zhuang Zi attentively rectified all the malpractice, which nearly made him a saint. Su, Shi thought that on the surface, Zhuang Zi did not seem to support Kong Zi's philosophy; however, the core belief of Zhuang Zi's echoed Kong Zi's thoughts. Zhu, Xi thought that Zhuang Zi's discussion was good and thaught Zhuang Zi continued Kong Zi's thought. Lin, Xiyi thought that Zhuang Zi's articles although unconventionally playful, the confents of his work were no different from sages' viewpoints. The present paper first clarify the concept of ”guiding Zhuang Zi to the Confucianism.” Then, the author will illustrate the background and meaning of the above concept and related issues. Zhuang Zi's philosophy in Song Dynasty can be better understood through such discussion.
