     本篇研究採用語言學習策略總綱(SILL)之問卷,調查臺灣地區二百二十三位二專學生英語文學習策略使用之情形。再針對男生╱女生,高成就╱低成就語言學習者策略使用的不同列表說明。該研究結果顯示男學生使用的學習策略比女學生多,高成就學習者除了情感性策略外也比低成就學習者明顯使用較多的學習策略。本篇也略提數項建議以供語言教學及自動學習者實際改進之用。
     This paper describes a study of 108 female and 115 male junior college-level English language learners in Taiwan. The investigation used the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) and focused on male/female, successful/unsuccessful language learners and their use of language strategies. Results showed male students used language learning strategies more frequently than the female. Successful language learners showed a number of differences from the unsuccessful language learners in their use of learning strategies except affective strategies. Several practical suggestions are provided to improve language instruction and learners' autonomy.
