本研究旨在探討原鄉部落社會資本與生活福祉之間的關聯性，並據以提出促進族人生活福祉的相關建議。社會資本包括三種類型：結合型、橋接型與連結型，各類型皆包含信任、網絡與規範三個要素；生活福祉包括兩個面向：工作與生活平衡（含工作面、生活面與參與面）與人身安全（含部落安全與個人安全）。研究對象為年滿20歲以上之不同家戶原住民成人，以叢集抽樣方式進行，由全台灣原鄉部落的48個原住民族家庭服務中心為抽樣單位，每中心邀請15位民眾接受面訪問卷調查，實際完成之有效問卷為679份。研究發現，社會資本類型與生活福祉各次面向皆存在著顯著正相關，結合型社會資本對生活福祉的貢獻有較顯著的解釋力，尤其是「結合型－信任」是唯一有效解釋人身安全的變項。另外，除個人安全及生活面外，絕大多數社會福祉的變項，亦可有效預測社會資本，概括而言，社會資本與生活福祉具有正向交互影響的效果。依據研究發現和討論，本研究提出六項有助於促進原鄉部落生活福祉的相關建議。
The study aims to explore the correlation between social capital and life well-being of indigenous people in tribes, and according to findings, to provide suggestions for promoting their life well-being. The social capital is divided into 3 types: bonding, bridging and linking. Each type includes 3 elements: trust, network and norm. The life well-being involves 2 aspects: work and life balance (including 3 sub-aspects: work, life and participation) and personal safety (including 2 sub-aspects: tribal security and individual security). 679 successful samples referred by 48 indigenous family service centers located in Taiwan (included Orchid Island) and analysis. The main findings include: (1) the correlation between types of social capital and sub-aspects of life well-being are all significantly positive; (2) the life well-being is mainly contributed from bonding social capital positively and significantly, in particular the element of trust; (3) most of life well-being sub-aspects, in addition to personal safety and 'participation, also contribute to types of social capital positively and significantly. In general, social capital and life well-being is positively mutual influence. According to findings and analyses, we propose 6 suggestions for promoting life well-being of tribal indigenous people.
