The purpose of curriculm integration is to solve current curriculum problems of fragmentation and separation from real life students. This article is to probe into the meaning and modes of integrated curriculum. Then, based on the arguments, two field-based examples of integrated curriculum are presented that include the thematic integrated teaching of multidisciplinary and the multiple intelligences. The problems teachers meet with possible including: 1. The teachers not only usually neglect the spirit and meaning of the homeland education activities or integrated curriculum, but can not make systematic curriculum concepts. 2.The principles of curriculum integration are mainly life-related experience of students. Finally, the applications of the integrated teaching and several suggestions for the future teaching in elementary schools are offered.
